How to Open New Unit Run Canteen (URC) in 2024
- सबसे पहले सेना/नौसेना/वायु सेना की कोई भी UNIT जो यूआरसी खोलना चाहती है, वह मामले के विवरण के साथ प्रस्तुत Appendix ‘A’ के अनुसार सचिवालय शाखा, सीएसडी एचओ को आवेदन कर सकती है।
- अर्धसैनिक बलों की कोई भी इकाई (जब वे सेना के प्रशासन/परिचालन नियंत्रण में हों) को मामले के विवरण के साथ Appendix ‘B‘ के अनुसार आवेदन करना चाहिए।
- URC खोलने की मंजूरी DDGCS के कार्यालय द्वारा दी जाती है, जिसके बाद CSD HO, सचिवालय शाखा द्वारा URC पंजीकरण संख्या/ URC License Number जारी की जाती है।
- यूआरसी के पंजीकरण को मंजूरी मिलने में 30-60 दिन लग सकते हैं। क्योंकि यह प्रक्रिया संपूर्ण रूप से ऑफलाइन माध्यम से होती है इसलिए इसमें ज्यादा समय लगने की संभावना होती है I

No, All category of canteen smart card holders as stated above are entitled to purchase other AFD items irrespective of service period.
Can I buy a second car through AFD Portal within 5 years of buying the first car, if I transfer the first one to my family member’s name?
No, the car cannot be transferred before completing 5 years of purchase. After transfer also, Purchase can be done only after 5 years from the date oflastpurchase.
When can I buy the same category product again?
Any Product of same kind can only be bought once in as pacified period.

can I pay through Payment Gateway/ Online Payment when I have opted for a loan?
Yes, but the loan amount has to be directly credited to the CSD HO Main Account . Remaining all payments needs to be directly transferred through the payment gateway only. (please read “https://afd.csdindia.gov.in/how-to-make-online-payments/” for detailed guidlines.)
Why can’t I pay through Payment Gateway/ Online Payment when I have opted for a loan?

Dealer Price is filled but still the error is showing, “Billing dealer price is required field.”?
The “Dealer Price” has to be exactly the same as the “Net Price to be paid”. This is to be ensure CSD beneficiary are charged/Correctly quoted by CSD dealer, avoid over/excess payment
Can I change the pre-filled details in check out form?
No, all these details are picked from the registration form that user filled while registration.
Why do I get this alert, “You are not entitled to purchase the selected car”?
There are three entitlement categories (Officers, JCO, OR) and every category has a different Ceiling limit. If any user is getting the above said message then the user must choose a different product of lower value with in their allowed limit/ category.

Can we do payment by my wife’s account or the children’s account?
No, you can’t payment through your spouse / wife / children’s account. If you have joint account and you’re primary in that account, then you can transfer from your joint account. A declaration to this effect to be Submitted by Joint A/c holders authorizing transaction to pay towards AFD-I item purchase through Portal.
If I’m not taken a loan and the amount is more than 10 lacs can we do it offline payment?
Yes, you can pay in part by part payment process.

Yes, beneficiary can do part payment but it can only be done 2 times;not more than that.

What is the process of refunding money after LS order is issued by the Depot?
